Egis was awarded a concession contract for Tahiti Faa’a airport

The French State signed on March 27th, 2010 with Aéroport de Tahiti, an Egis subsidiary, a 30 year concession contract for the development, operation and maintenance of Tahiti Faa’a airport and 5 year renewable operation contracts for Raiatea, Rangiroa and Bora Bora airports. The concession contract started on 1st of April 2010.

Through these contracts, Egis will be deeply involved in the operation of:

  • Tahiti Faa’a airport with a 2009 traffic of approximately 1.2 million passengers,
  • Raiatea, Rangiroa and Bora Bora airports with a 2009 total traffic of approximately 0.55 million passengers for the 3 airports.

Egis will provide experienced managers and technical assistance to Aéroport de Tahiti, in order to bring the necessary additional expertise in the fields of management, airport operation, engineering and maintenance.
