Runway rehabilitation project at Basel-Mulhouse Airport
The bi-national EuroAirport Basel - Mulhouse - Freiburg selected Egis Avia for the provision of technical assistance to the contracting authority in the frame of the main runway pavement repair project for the 2010-2011 period.
The project has been assigned to Egis Avia, whose teams are in charge of:
• Giving technical advice and recommendations on the construction specification documents and on the chosen construction options;
• Controlling compliance with the safety study;
• Providing technical assistance to the contracting authority during all the steps of the project.
Egis Avia’s main role is hence to make sure that rehabilitation works are performed in compliance with the requirements defined in the impact study which had been conducted prior to the project.
