MAESTRO Arrival Manager to be implemented in The Philippines

Egis Avia will equip two major Philippine airports with the MAESTRO AMAN (Arrival Manager) system in the frame of a contract signed between Thales and the Civil Aviation Authority of The Philippines (CAAP).

The arrival manager will optimise arriving flights sequence at Manila and Cebu Airports. Air traffic controllers will hence be able to cope with the increasing traffic in the region while reducing flight delays. MAESTRO AMAN is provided on a turnkey basis for this contract and integrated to Thales' global air traffic management solution: EUROCAT. This project is part of a larger programme aiming to modernise the country's ATM / CNS (communication, navigation, surveillance) equipment and infrastructure.
