Support to the integration and validation of i-4D trajectories
Egis Avia is providing assistance to Eurocontrol MUAC on a project to integrate and validate Initial 4D trajectories.
In the context of SESAR, Eurocontrol is conducting simulation activities in order to validate new operational concepts such as 4D trajectories management. The concept relies on a reference business trajectory contract passed between the airspace user and the service provider and based on DataLink transmission. It implies a target time of arrival over a waypoint of the trajectory within a time window tolerance.
Egis Avia provides support to Eurocontrol on the integration and validation activities of this pre-operational concept. This project is conducted in coordination with the SESAR members involved (including Airbus).
