EUCCAP Newsletter 1

EUCCAP

The EU-China Civil Aviation (EUCCAP) project was launched in October 2010. This technical assistance programme is implemented in partnership between the European Union and the Government of the People’s Republic of China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) designated as its beneficiary. It aims at supporting the Chinese Civil Aviation Authority through institutional capacity building. Another objective is to foster the integration of the different regions of the countries and their convergence with international norms and standards in aviation. The implementing team is formed by Egis Avia, Lufthansa Consulting, Ecorys and Bureau Veritas (project leader). The first issue of the EUCCAP quarterly newsletter was published early December 2011.

i-4D Support

Egis Avia is providing assistance to Eurocontrol MUAC on a project to integrate and validate Initial 4D trajectories.

Terminal extension at Lyon Airport

Egis provides support to project management on the feasibility studies for the expansion of the terminals T1 and T3 at Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport (Aéroports de Lyon).

Modernisation of Carcassonne Airport

Egis Avia has been designated as prime contractor for the upgrading and modernisation programme of Carcassonne Airport, France.
